OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Enrollment Senior Specialist will support the Team Lead in the overall daily operations of the Enrollment/Budget department. This person will oversee the entry of consumer budgets and enrollment documents timely and accurately into the Payroll system. This individual will provide these serviced to a variety of sources as determined and directed by Acumen, the various contacts and all updates of contracts. Acts as a subject matter expert for both Enrollment/Budgeting processes and procedures and the day to day operations in the Enrollment Department Acts as a Team Lead and go-to person when Team lead is not present Receives larger number of calls (internal and external) regarding new and existing enrollment files. Interacts daily with program stake holders via phone and/or electronically Registers potential and existing customers using several data bases with high accuracy Receives, researches, sorts, files, retrieves forms, correspondence and documents of confidential and time-sensitive nature. Includes following up with state individuals and families for possible resolutions Maintains a complex filing system Works well independently with limited supervision Analyses and resolves all customer inquiries Uses strategic thinking to complete multiple tasks Conducts thorough and accurate research Demonstrates a working knowledge of and abides by contract, state and Medicaid specifications Identify and share opportunities for process improvements and improved working conditions Performs other work related activities as assigned Willing to step in and work other than typical work hours to meet high volume training needs and other needs of the department Step in as a Team Lead when necessary and perform duties and tasks of the position when needed. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and other computer-based training programs on a day to day basis Ensures that processors are processing all documentation within the specified time frames. Assist with the development and production of other external communications as assigned. Openly communicates expectations to team and acts as a leader in driving enrollments ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS At least 6 months as an Enrollment/Budget Specialist. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Accuracy and the ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision. Critical thinking and decision making skills Ability to work well with numbers. Ability to read and work accurately with formulas. Proficient with 10 key by touch. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills, task oriented, good interpersonal skills, patience, perseverance, and follow through skills.
