Description
Company Description We’re searching for a commercially astute and experienced Senior Enterprise Delivery Lead – Technology & Retail Transformation to lead the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-wide programmes. This is a pivotal role where you will operate across a broad range of retail technology and business domains, ensuring delivery outcomes are safe, predictable, and aligned to enterprise priorities. The Warehouse Group (TWG) has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role we play in communities throughout New Zealand. We are the largest general merchandise retailer in NZ across The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery & Noel Leeming. We are at an exciting point in our journey where our focus is on becoming brand-centric, aiming to deliver an unparalleled experience for our customers. Agility and collaboration are cornerstones of our work culture, empowering us to adapt swiftly and work seamlessly together. By being brand-led and retail-focused, we are intentional about placing the right people in the right roles, allowing us to perform work that truly makes a difference. Job Description You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise programmes and initiatives as assigned, operating across a broad range of retail technology and business domains. Assignments may span core retail platforms (e.g. Oracle Retail), supply chain and fulfilment automation, omni-channel technology, enterprise data and AI platforms, network operations, and associated operating model change, depending on enterprise priorities. You will own safe, predictable delivery from initiation through to stabilisation and BAU handover, translating approved strategy, architecture, and governance decisions into executable delivery plans while protecting live retail operations, customer experience, and commercial performance. This role does not own portfolio prioritisation, sequencing, funding or enterprise trade-off decisions. Those decisions sit with enterprise governance. The Senior Enterprise Delivery Lead is accountable for delivering what is assigned; safely, predictably, and with confidence. Key responsibilities: End-to-End Programme Delivery: Accountable for the successful delivery of enterprise programmes and initiatives as assigned, acting as the single point of ownership from initiation through to stabilisation and BAU transition. Delivery Leadership & Execution: Lead delivery across all phases including discovery, planning, implementation, migration, and cutover, translating approved strategy and governance decisions into clear, executable plans. Retail & Customer Protection: Ensure delivery is executed safely within live trading environments, protecting store operations, fulfilment, customer experience, and commercial performance. Governance, Risk & Assurance: Provide clear, decision-ready insights on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and confidence, while proactively managing risks and interdependencies within governance frameworks. Architecture & Integration Alignment: Work in partnership with architecture teams to deliver within agreed guardrails, managing integration, data migration, and transitional architecture impacts. Vendor & Partner Management: Lead delivery across system integrators and partners, ensuring performance, quality, and commercial outcomes meet expectations and align with TWG standards. Change, Readiness & Adoption: Ensure technology delivery is supported by operating model change, driving readiness, adoption, and smooth transition into BAU ownership. Leadership & Capability Uplift: Provide leadership, mentoring, and consistency across delivery teams, continuously improving delivery maturity, standards, and predictability. Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Promote a safe, inclusive working environment and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies. Qualifications Proven Enterprise Delivery Experience: Significant experience delivering complex enterprise programmes across multiple retail technologies and business domains, with accountability for outcomes impacting stores, fulfilment, inventory, and trading performance. Senior Leadership Capability: Demonstrated experience leading large-scale delivery in retail or consumer environments, with strong governance, risk management, and executive stakeholder engagement. Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to balance pace, risk, and value in live trading environments, with a clear understanding of retail drivers and trade-offs. Technical & Domain Breadth: Experience across core retail platforms, supply chain automation, enterprise data platforms, and ecosystem change. Additional Information You’ll be joining a dynamic and supportive environment within a business that’s passionate about its people and its purpose. This is a rare opportunity to lead high-impact, enterprise-wide transformation programmes that shape the future of retail technology at scale. You’ll work alongside experienced leaders and teams who value clarity, collaboration, and delivery excellence, while making a tangible impact on customer experience and commercial performance across New Zealand.
