Job Description

IN A NUTSHELL

Due to our continuing success and growth, Eurofins is currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the GSC IT Architecture Office team, for supporting the management and evolution of an application landscape serving a wide range of Business Lines addressing a large set of markets with different business models.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in Enterprise Architecture related disciplines such as business modelling (business process, value stream), functional analysis, requirement and value analysis, application portfolio management, architecture roadmap and willing to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex business and Technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills targeting leadership audience (CxO and VP level).
  • Highly tolerant and resilient to volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. VUCA is not a justification for not delivering.
  • Experience of delivering complex programs and managing multicultural and distributed teams within global organizations with many stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business outcomes through effective architecture, yet attentive to details.
  • Team player: involves others, builds trust with colleagues, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-makers.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • 8+ years of experience in an IT position with exposure to multiple IT roles (Business analyst, Project manager, Architect, IT / Business relationship manager). Preferably in long standing position of in-house IT Departments or within IT Consultancy firms active in Enterprise Architecture consulting market.
  • Extensive functional knowledge in multiple enterprise functions (sales, production, Laboratory, digital …) relevant to Industries with ties to Eurofins markets and customers.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of Test Inspection Certification sector is a plus, logistic/manufacturing or service to industry sectors addressing low margin/competitive market is also valuable.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Architecture Assessment and Management methods such as TOGAF, etc. (certification is a nice to have);
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Process, Information, Application, and Technology Blueprints preparation;
  • Familiar with Enterprise Architecture blueprint development, governance, and management
  • Broad technical aptitude, knowledge and experience across application, information, technology, and process domains

Languages: Fluent English. Other languages would be considered as a plus.
