Description
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in IT operations and bring expertise in enterprise IT modernization and business transformation capabilities that include cross-domain solutions, enterprise data management, GenAI capabilities and a vast array of enterprise solutions that encompass platform services (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian), open source coding, and cloud migration (e.g., AWS, Azure). This is a doer role, where you will be responsible for supporting and winning new business, providing capture and proposal support, writing white papers and proposals, developing enterprise solutions, engaging 1-1 with customers, developing new IT capabilities, and delivering interactive technology prototypes to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have vast experience in DOD, and the ability to move smoothly between tactical and strategic conversations with technical, mission, and business leadership. You will play a critical role in helping our team formalize, standardize, and mature our AI and cloud services offerings (e.g., Azure, AWS) and expand the ICF footprint across the DOD, DHS and DOS. You possess a good understanding and hands-on expertise with DevSecOps, open source solutions and modern low-code/no-code platforms. You have been through the trenches in helping teams obtain authority to operate (ATO) and can have intelligent discussions around NIST recommendations and security controls. You are passionate about automation and creating an environment that fosters AI and DevSecOps approaches. You articulate the connection from technical services to business capabilities and help client organizations navigate the tension between evolving traditional IT processes and modern approaches. You roll your sleeves up and actively engage and understand that success is not about being a hero, it’s about developing a capable team to deliver the right solutions to our customers. Extensive background in capture and proposal to include designing, solutioning, pricing and the ability to deliver well written winning technical proposals and innovative technical challenges. Large-scale operational experience and expertise in artificial intelligence, process automation, cloud adoption, cyber, and cloud migration patterns and services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience building scalable enterprise modernization solutions using open source and COTS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian)
  • 5+ years of experience applying advanced automation and AI capabilities to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies
  • 5+ years of experience implementing large-scale digital modernization and integration projects that include designing, architecting and implementing SaaS, cloud native, and AI driven solutions.
  • 5+ years of engineering and implementing infrastructure modernization projects at scale
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale enterprise technology engagements, technical leadership at the program level, along with a successful track record of delivery of infrastructure, application, and/or system modernization
  • 5+ years of experience and accomplishments with de-facto cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google), applying serverless products using managed services and platform-based application technologies in solution architecture, design, and system development
  • 5+ years of experience with define DevSecOps pipelines, tools and processes including infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using organizational architectural design principles based on government FISMA and NIST requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in refactoring systems into microservices and containerized deployments that integrate with native cloud services
  • US Citizenship with existing clearance and the ability to obtain a Public Trust, Secret and/or Top Secret security clearance as required by ICF customers.
  • BS in computer science, engineering, software development or information systems
Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and leads the delivery of winning solutions, transitioning day-to-day operations to the program team post transition.
  • Creates a vision and executable strategy that leads with AI and results in value-based outcomes.
  • Builds robust and scalable IT modernization solutions using open source, low code/no code, AI, agile frameworks, advanced security tools, and cloud adoption strategies.
  • Applies agile methodologies, AI tools, automation, and multi-phased cloud migration deliveries to enable rapid and consistent service execution.
  • Serves as the primary technology point of contact for the organization, responsible for the technical oversight, architecture and engineering efforts and technology challenges and innovation projects
  • Engages and leads program teams to build customer strategies and roadmaps that enable digital transformations and secure system and application integrations across domains and platforms.
  • Drives performance improvement on programs as required
  • Work with our program teams to optimize IT capabilities and services deployed on contract
  • Oversees provider and vendor interactions and the effectuation of products, services, platform(s) and other solutions along the roadmap while working collaboratively with program teams to ensure that technical milestones are adhering to program schedules
  • Develops effective governance, leads, and mentors technical resources, mitigates risk, monitors quality, security, and outcomes to ensure program delivery success
  • Leads technology evaluations, develops proofs of concepts and client demonstrations and creates various solutioning and educational presentations to assert vetting and client buy-in
  • Coordinates and collaborates on developing requirements and mission outcomes with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams
  • Serves as the technical strategy champion, identifying viable solutions to program issues and prescribing adoption of proposed solutions for leadership, staff, and contractors
  • Authors required documentation, briefings, SLAs, technical proposals, and standards
  • Produces technical solutions with detailed narrative for proposals and supports key personnel requirements during procurement phases
