Senior Workday Enterprise Systems & Integration Analyst

About the Role
Teranet is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Enterprise Security & Integration Analyst to act as a security lead and technical integration analyst for day-to-day operations of the Workday platform.
You will be responsible for security administration, system configuration, new integration development with other third-party SaaS applications and other tasks as assigned.
As a knowledgeable expert in integrations you will design and integrate enterprise platforms, automate manual process and leverage AI to maximize value for our stakeholders and improve employee digital experience. You will also be responsible for providing “Tier 1” support to organization and serving as point-of-contact for Workday and other systems. User management and security administration of other SaaS systems may be required. You will maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality and integrity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Primary point of contact to research, troubleshoot and resolve security and integration issues in a timely manner. Support resolution of issues escalated; manage incidents, track ticket status. Monitor, assess and report on Workday health-check, system availability, and security audits. Monitor and report on Workday license usage and compliance.
  • Develop the Workday access matrix to ensure access to the Workday system meets the data governance requirements of the organization
  • Work in collaboration with the business stakeholders to ensure accuracy of security access requirements
  • Ensure segregation of duties and other internal controls are being followed as per internal audit requirements
  • As a knowledgeable expert in integrations you will work to design, configure and support various Workday integrations with third party systems and security tools such as Okta, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, etc.
  • Grant Workday security and permissions within the system and create new user groups and roles as required
  • Configure, maintain and support authentication policies including SSO and MFA with Okta
  • User management and security administration of other SaaS systems may be required
  • Research existing AI capabilities within Workday/other SaaS applications and find opportunities to streamline manual processes by adopting newly released features.
  • Coordinate and implement Workday releases by effectively collaborating with partners and stakeholders in IS, HR, Finance, and vendors throughout the lifecycle of a release or project.
  • Create custom reports and support end users with reporting issues

About You

  • You have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of practical Workday security configuration experience outlined above - including the support and development of security policies, authentication, monitoring and reviewing security controls.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with integration development technologies with emphasis on Studio development
  • You have a deep knowledge of Workday products including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Financials and Adaptive.
  • Strong proficiency with Web Services, Application Program Interface (APIs), XML, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XSLT
  • Workday Integrations Certification
  • Experience integrating SaaS applications with various security systems including Okta, Prisma Cloud and Attaccama
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle activities (i.e., requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment)
  • Experience with Workday custom reporting and dashboard development
  • Hands on experience implementing AI features within Workday and other SaaS applications would be an asset
  • Must be a team player that is willing to collaborate and commit to the team’s success

  • Experience working in agile environments with tools like JIRA
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
