As a Senior HS&E Advisor, you will lead a team of HS&E Advisors and support the Framework HS&E Manager to deliver best-in-class health, safety, and environmental performance across our projects. You’ll play a key role in shaping culture, enhancing compliance, and driving continuous improvement.Key Accountabilities:

  • Foster and support an inclusive, open, transparent, and collaborative environment that supports our HS&E culture, maturity, and behaviours to deliver HS&E excellence.
  • Support the implementation of our HS&E strategy to drive continual improvement through the business addressing short-, medium-, and long-term growth and learning. This will be achieved through collaboration with others in our teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Promote a positive HS&S culture which is consistent with Galliford Try’s Challenging Beliefs and Affecting Behaviours programme and business leadership ambitions.
  • Represent and promote the HS&E function in internal and external meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums – communicating best practice standards and initiatives.
  • Implement our environmental management system, taking account of client requirements, to align with our overall strategy and driving performance through our processes and standards.

About You:
Relevant HS&E experience in infrastructure, construction, or regulated industries
Supervisory experience within a HS&E team
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
IOSH or IIRSM membership desirable (CMIOSH or working towards)What We Can Offer in Return:
