With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.   Role description:  Due to consistent growth in our Environmental Planning and Management team, Arcadis is looking for a Senior Environment Consultant to work and deliver on a diverse range of infrastructure, renewable and niche environmental projects in Queensland. This opportunity will see you collaborate with other teams in New South Wales along with interstate teams in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.   Role accountabilities: * Key focus on environmental assessment and approvals, sustainable development and specialist advice to clients and industry;  * Coordinate integrated approvals processes (federal, state and local) for major infrastructure and renewables (inc. but not limited to; road, rail, energy, waste and water) projects;  * Coordinate the delivery of Environmental Impact Statements and similar planning and approvals assessments and reports;  * Reviewing technical studies/engineering design drawings;  * Manage and deliver key multidisciplinary projects, focusing on sustainable solutions;   * Identify opportunities for client development and preparation of proposals;  * Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams, providing environmental advice to other Arcadis service lines and clients;  * Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders on projects;   * Providing support to the Team Leader to implement and achieve strategy and sector goals, whilst championing a quality, innovative, client-focused and entrepreneurial culture.    Qualifications & Experience:  First and foremost, you are someone who values and enjoys working within a supportive, people-focused culture. You are an energetic and proactive individual and come to us with: * Relevant tertiary qualification;  * Experience leading environmental work streams on large infrastructure & renewables projects;  * Familiarity with the consulting industry and an understanding of the market;  * A reputation for delivering high-quality work, building excellent team morale and client relationships;  * Confidence in presenting both internally and externally and developing an internal brand with other business sectors and an external brand with clients; and   * Sound knowledge of local infrastructure projects (waste, rail, road, renewables, water).    Why Arcadis?
