The Boeing Company’s Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) organization is seeking Senior Environmental Remediation Engineers or Scientists to manage multiple complex remediation projects with a focus on team leadership, project strategy, stakeholder engagement, compliance and risk mitigation. This position is based in Tukwila, WA.

Our Environmental Remediation team has an outstanding opportunity for a technical and strategic problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
This position requires working effectively with other Boeing functions including communications, finance, legal, procurement, and facilities in accomplishing aggressive business goals and objectives. The position also requires strong leadership skills including working successfully with regulatory agency management and staff, leading diverse teams of technical and academic experts, consensus building and decision making on complex regulatory/technical matters, and coordination with other responsible parties and their contractors. Will require travel, primarily between Puget Sound sites and other out-of-state locations.

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required
Coordinate public information/communications with internal stakeholders prior to release
Additional Responsibilities for Level 5:
Lead and coach a team of project managers in accomplishing goals for a portfolio of projects (Level 5 only, depending on qualifications); lead organization process improvement initiatives
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. Currently 3 days onsite.
