We are looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to oversee, review, and sign off on Stage I, and II, Site Investigations as well as remediation reports. This role calls for an Environmental Professional with strong technical expertise and a commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance in site assessment and remediation practices.

As a Senior Technical Advisor, you will play a key role in managing surface land deliverables across a range of oil and gas and facility-related projects throughout British Columbia. Your experience in environmental site assessments and surface land remediation programs will be critical to the success of our operations.

UTILIZE YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, biological science or related field.
  • Registration with a British Columbia professional association.
  • 8+ years’ experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring and site remediation.
  • Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills.
  • Effective management of activities requiring the use of environmental consultants or contractors.
  • Commit to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives, report potential hazards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
  • Good sense of humour and a strong admiration of our Mullet Culture is an asset.
