To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for a motivated Sr Environmental Test Engineer, who will be part of the Operations Unit within our Test & Validation team.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the aerospace sector or testing complex systems.
  • Knowledge of environmental testing practices (e.g., TVAC, vibration, shock) and associated equipment.
  • Good understanding of the English language.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Experience gained in small/medium-sized manufacturing or aerospace companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT tools (e.g., Excel, data acquisition software, ERP/MES systems);
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities

As a Senior Environmental Test Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating and executing functional tests throughout the integration process and final validation of the satellite.

The activities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan and coordinate environmental and functional satellite tests, focusing on thermal vacuum chamber (TVAC) campaigns.
  • Supervise and support the test team’s activities, ensuring proper execution according to procedures and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure satellites are test ready.
  • Manage the installation, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment (sensors, data acquisition systems, etc.).
  • Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvements or corrections.
  • Ensure that all testing activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during test campaigns.
  • Support integration and preparation phases for satellite launch.
