JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator with vast knowledge in Exterior siding materials and projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and siding estimating and project management, with the ability to build and negotiate effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate pricing and cost management for our projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Projects are all around the Calgary Area, New residential Single family homes, Custom Homes and Multi Family, Must have an extensive Knowledge in all siding material and take off procedures.

SKILLS

• Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies must have knowledge in estimating all siding materials.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
• Experience with Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on findings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information effectively.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for siding projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure bids.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam for efficient estimating processes.
• Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential cost impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid documents and presentations.
