Description

Due to continued growth and upcoming succession within the team, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Estimator to be a part of our ongoing success and play a pivotal role in securing large-scale projects across the Northwest region of WA.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and coordinating first principle estimates while taking full ownership of the end-to-end bid process – from methodology and pricing, through risk assessments and tender reviews, to final submission and post-tender negotiations supported by experienced construction personnel. You’ll work on tenders typically valued at $50M–$100M, with a strong focus on civil complex infrastructure projects for key clients such as Rio Tinto, BHP and FMG.

Your key duties will be to:

  • Prepare first principles estimates (direct and indirect costs) for complex civil infrastructure tenders across the Northwest.
  • Coordinate closely with the estimating team to develop a clear understanding of project scope, delivery methodology, client expectations and other technical & commercial intricacies
  • Manage the end-to-end tender process – from risk assessments and tender reviews through to final submission and post-tender negotiations.
  • Preparation and presentation of clear and easily understood information for tender reviews
  • Prepare and oversee accurate, competitive, and high-quality bid submissions.
  • Mentor and support junior estimators and engineers within the team.
  • Keep up to date with market conditions, subcontractor pricing, and innovations to drive a competitive edge.

WHY GEORGIOU?
