Due to a massive pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their Irving-based team. This isn't just about spreadsheets; it’s about bidding on the projects that build the future of Texas. The Compensation: Competitive Base Salary (Commensurate with experience) + Performance Bonuses. What You’ll Be Doing: Project Scoping: Perform detailed quantity take-offs for large-scale industrial and commercial steel projects. Bid Management: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and engineers to identify value-engineering opportunities. Market Analysis: Stay ahead of material cost fluctuations to ensure competitive and profitable bidding. Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Experience: 5-10 years of estimating experience specifically within Structural Steel or Industrial Construction. Technical Prowess: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the North Texas construction market and vendor landscape. Detail-Oriented: An "analytical brain" that can spot a discrepancy in a blueprint from a mile away. Additional Information Why this role?
