SENIOR ESTIMATOR – COMMERCIAL INTERIORS

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwork Estimator to join our team and lead estimating for large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of retail or architectural millwork estimating experience in a general contracting environment.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications with a focus on millwork.
• Proficient in industry-standard estimating and project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborative team player with a strong customer service focus.

• Prepare accurate bids for incoming projects and manage the pre-construction estimating process.
• Develop new business opportunities and identify cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors across various trades, including millwork, metal, glass, and more.
• Collaborate with the Project Managers and Detailers to ensure project alignment.
• Review project plans and specifications, provide input on design, scheduling, and potential challenges.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and scope of work analysis.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings, budgets, and value engineering discussions.
• Work with the Purchasing Manager to negotiate material pricing and vendor agreements.
