Cantiro Homes is building over 200 homes per year with an expansive portfolio of home options ranging from the starter market to homes valued at over $1 million. We are dedicated to creating homes of spectacular beauty, character and quality, with a strong commitment to customer service.
Cantiro is currently looking for a Senior Estimator, Multi-Family.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Building, Construction Management, Architectural Technologies, Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized technical institute.
- 5+ years’ experience in residential construction.
- Experience with construction estimation software such as Bluebeam and/or Revit.
- Preference will be given to candidates with proficiency in HomeFront, BuildPro, and SupplyPro.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Alberta Building Code.
Please Note: Our office is located on 124 Street and 102 Avenue; there are numerous public parking options within close proximity to our office. Cantiro will assist the successful candidate with a list of available lots in the area.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Ability to interpret and provide comments on architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical blueprints and specifications and costing points of view.
- Expert working knowledge of Excel and MS Project.
- Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Proven planning, communication, organizing, analytical decision making and negotiating skills.
- New home building experience considered an asset
