Team Nextreme is a Construction Company specializing in Modular Homes Manufacturing & Construction, Multi-Family Housing, Steel Buildings, and other Prefabricated Structures, and Sub-Divisions from the ground up. Our projects range from Manufacturing Facilities, Water Treatment Plants, Modular Sub-Divisions, Hospitals, Fire Halls, to Childcare Centers. We aim to deliver high-quality projects that strengthen communities.
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to work within our Nextreme group under Paul Bros Nextreme Inc. who thrives on detail, accuracy, and results. This role is central to shaping successful bids, maintaining cost efficiency, and ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
As a Senior Estimator you will:
· Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for modular, multi-family, steel, and prefabricated construction projects.
· Analyze project budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for savings.
· Oversee project execution when required—working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver successful builds.
Key Responsibilities
· Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
· Conduct site visits to assess conditions, risks, and logistical factors.
· Estimate materials, labour, equipment, and project timelines with precision.
· Develop and update budgets throughout project lifecycles.
· Identify cost efficiencies and value-engineering opportunities.
· Prepare tender documents and final bid submissions.
· Project Management (as required):
· Plan project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
· Manage contract administration, change orders, and cost tracking with digital and AI technologies available by the company
· Collaborate with project superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, architects, and consultants.
· Lead project meetings, resolve on-site challenges, and uphold safety standards.
· Oversee project close-out including warranties, substantial completion certificates, and final reporting.
· Source new projects and plan for 6 months to 1 year in advance for bidding
