Job Purpose:
The Quantity Surveyor will take full ownership of all commercial aspects of contracts, managing processes from tendering through to final payment. This role involves ensuring accurate cost tracking, contract compliance, and facilitating seamless financial management for ongoing projects.
Position supported by Assistant Estimator/Quantity Surveyor and administration personnel
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Tender Preparation – Assist with the preparation of tender documentation, calculating quantities from drawings and obtaining quotations as required. Ensure all tender information is received and prepared in time for submission.
2. New Contract Set Up – Establish new contracts in Eque2 and Excel for accurate cost recording and billing. Create and maintain electronic contract files, ensuring they are well-organised. Review and sign sub-contract agreements.
