We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team at our Garforth, West Yorkshire offices.
As a Senior Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in pricing commercial groundworks packages, ranging from £50k to £4m. Our projects span diverse sectors, including schools, universities, hospitals, care homes, modular builds, manufacturing sites, and even live prison/defence environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

We’re looking for a Senior/Experienced Estimator with:
Extensive experience in groundworks and civils estimating across various sectors.
Technical knowledge of construction processes, especially groundworks and civil engineering.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Enthusiasm and a proactive approach.
Strong negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing project inquiries and establishing bid strategies.
Conducting pre-tender site visits.
Providing technical design advice and identifying value engineering opportunities.
Preparing and submitting competitive tenders, budgets, bills of quantities, and interpreting
project documentation.
Maintaining a comprehensive cost database.
Managing sub-contractor communications and negotiations.
Forecasting live project workload and reviewing project costs.
Maintaining regular communication with clients to obtain feedback during the tender process.
