Job Description


Are you ready to take your estimating expertise to the next level? We’re seeking a Senior Pre Contract Cost Estimator based in Brisbane to support project development and procurement in Queensland. This person will be providing robust and accurate cost estimates that support the client's successful planning and delivery of their capital portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build first-principles pricing for aviation & infrastructure sector projects.
  • Quantify from design information and collaborate with engineers to ensure precision.
  • Validate quantities and pricing from suppliers and contractors.
  • Source and review quotations, negotiating competitive pricing.
  • Assess and price risk during early project stages.
  • Structure estimates, bills of quantities, and bills of materials.
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Deliver integrated estimating services, offering strategic and technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

  • Quantity Surveyor/Cost related qualifications and credentials.
  • Infrastructure experience is a must.
  • Pre-contract estimating experience is a must.
  • Aviation experience is highly desirable.
  • Post-contract cost management experience desirable.
