SENIOR ETL DEVELOPER:

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior ETL Developer for a 9-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR ETL DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior ETL Developer will be engaged in a project aimed at enhancing data integration and transformation processes. This involves implementing and optimizing ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Informatica PowerCenter. The role also includes developing complex Oracle PL/SQL programs and ensuring seamless data integration across various platforms.

SENIOR ETL DEVELOPER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Experience with CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines and concepts
• Extensive experience in designing and developing SQL Server Stored Procedures
• Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL programs
• Experience in design, development, and implementation with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience with Azure DevOps tools
• Experience with performance tuning on large data volumes

SENIOR ETL DEVELOPER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos and Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience with Logic App and Function App development
• Experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
• Experience with data conversion processes
• Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies

• Participate in the review of project, work request, and maintenance release artifacts
• Deliver detailed system design documents conforming to Ministry standards
• Design logical and physical data models using Sybase Power Designer
• Implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, stored procedures, and Informatica PowerCenter
• Develop Azure CI/CD pipelines to automate ADF release
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems with ADF pipelines and Informatica workflows
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Optimize performance of ADF pipelines, Azure SQL, and Synapse databases
