POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer with advanced experience in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), and Oracle database technologies. This role will support ongoing data integration initiatives and modernization efforts in alignment with the Government of Ontario’s Bill 5 priorities. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant data solutions.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• BI/ETL Developer.
• SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and query optimization.
• Oracle tools (EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, OEM, RMAN).
• Oracle 11g and 19c database administration.
• Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 administration.
• Informatica Cloud (IDMC) including secure agents, org setup, asset migration, and role configuration.
• Expertise in Oracle DB administration, including user roles, backups, data dumps, and GoldenGate replication.
• Strong experience with data modeling (OLTP, OLAP, dimensional).
• Experience with cloud integration and API-based system interoperability.
• Hands-on with data cleansing, replication, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica IDMC and PowerCenter v10.2.
• Migrate ETL code from Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL.
• Optimize and performance-tune complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for Oracle 11g/19c environments.
• Conduct thorough testing of migrated code and stored procedures.
• Perform ETL from various source systems into data warehouses using star/snowflake schemas.
• Troubleshoot ETL and database performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for unit testing, validation, and production deployment.
• Administer Informatica and Oracle components, including configuration of agents, schedules, users, and roles.
• Support cloud migration and system integration using REST/SOAP APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and deliver iteratively.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control policies.
• Provide database administration: backups (RMAN), user management, data dumps, GoldenGate synchronization.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
• Provide post-implementation support and participate in knowledge transfer.
