Description

As a Senior Event Coordinator at Trade Press Media Group, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative events—from boutique gatherings to large trade shows and virtual programs. This hands-on role blends event management, content development, and attendee engagement, giving you the chance to oversee timelines, coordinate logistics, support sponsors and speakers, and contribute to marketing materials. You’ll travel occasionally for onsite support, work closely with a collaborative team, and help create exceptional experiences that bring people together.
Be part of innovative events: Work across a range of formats—from hosted buyer and boutique gatherings to large trade shows and virtual events. Gain hands-on experience with event platforms, programming processes and communication technologies to engage attendees, speakers and sponsors.
Build event management expertise: Oversee timelines, schedule conference sessions, manage administrative tasks, and coordinate follow-up in collaboration with the Education & Events Manager and Director.
Deliver great service: Assist attendees, sponsors, speakers, and internal teams by managing registration, coordinating event logistics, providing reports, and keeping website content up to date.
Contribute to content development: Create clear, engaging event copy and help develop and populate websites, promotional materials, and signage.
Travel occasionally: Provide onsite support at several live events each year as our in-person portfolio continues to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • Able to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and deliver results without close oversight.
  • Able to collaborate effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and rapidly mastering different tools and technologies.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Clear, confident communicator—both written and verbal.
  • 2–3 years of event planning experience preferred.
