Description The Senior Event Program Manager (SEPM) is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of events of varying size and complexity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in event marketing and demonstrated expertise in managing events from concept development through execution and post-event reconciliation, including budget closeout. Events may include marketing activations, nonprofit galas, concerts, parades, and other large-scale productions. The SEPM leads high-profile client events, oversees internal teams, and serves as the primary point of contact to ensure alignment with client objectives, brand standards, and operational excellence. Requirements Account-Specific Responsibilities Conduct weekly meetings with the WOW MKTG Internal Account Team to ensure brand consistency across all event assets Participate in bi-weekly client and Account Team event status meetings Create and manage creative and event-related tasks in the Wrike project management system (Training in Wrike will be provide) Monitor the client’s event grid and maintain updated WOW MKTG documentation to ensure internal teams are informed of upcoming events and asset requirements Coordinate and assist with scheduling the delivery, setup, and removal of event assets for all client events Core Responsibilities Develop and conceptualize event themes for assigned events Design and implement unique event experiences and décor aligned with client and brand objectives Plan, coordinate, and execute all assigned events from inception through completion Develop event budgets and negotiate all vendor contracts Manage and track all event-related expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets Manage client billing processes and oversee vendor payment coordination Lead execution of top-tier client events, ensuring consistent, high-level communication and service delivery Manage large-scale events that may include additional Event Managers, providing oversight, leadership, and primary client communication Oversee event setup, onsite operations, staffing, timelines, and flow Attend assigned events to manage footprint, hired staff, branding elements, and operational execution Oversee and ensure professional and timely event breakdown Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and partners Ensure consistent follow-through on all vendor and client communications Maintain confidentiality of all WOW MKTG client information Manage and maintain all vendor relationships established by or introduced to WOW MKTG Attend and actively participate in client committee meetings, planning sessions, strategy meetings, and venue walkthroughs Complete all assigned responsibilities from initiation through completion Demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountability Contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment What we offer Unlimited Vacation Hybrid work schedule Paid Company holidays Referral Program Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Aflac, GAP, FSA, Legal Plan, Life Insurance, 401k, and much more!
