JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Events Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the planning, logistics, and execution of SEMA’s high-profile meetings and special events. This position supports the execution of key event elements—from venue selection and vendor coordination to budgeting, scheduling, and onsite logistics—ensuring they align with the organization’s goals and run smoothly under the direction of event leadership. Working closely with the Events Managers, this role contributes to strategic planning while also helping lead and mentor the Events Coordinator, ensuring seamless collaboration across all levels of event production. The role bridges creative collaboration, operational efficiency, and guest experience to deliver polished, memorable events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership Role: Provide direct support to Special Events Managers with project planning, budgeting, and execution of key tasks. Help lead the Special Events Coordinator by offering guidance, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring alignment across event activities. Act as the onsite lead during events when delegated by Special Events Managers.
