The Senior Events Marketing Manager plays a strategic and highly organized role in leading the planning and execution of our global event strategy, including owned events, third-party sponsorships, executive programs, and virtual experiences. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving pipeline, expanding our brand reach, and creating unforgettable customer touchpoints. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Brand to ensure every event is aligned with business goals and delivers measurable impact.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Coursework or certification in Event Planning, Project Management, or Digital Marketing is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), or Digital Event Strategist (DES) are desirable but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders, including executives, vendors, and team members. A Senior Events Manager needs to convey event vision, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication before, during, and after events.
  • Organization & Time Management: Juggling multiple events and tasks requires excellent organizational skills. Effective time management ensures that everything, from pre-event preparation to day-of execution, runs smoothly while meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving: Creativity is key to developing unique event experiences that resonate with audiences and reflect the company’s brand. A Senior Events Manager also needs strong problem-solving skills to quickly adapt to unexpected challenges, such as last-minute changes or logistical issues.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, HR, and leadership, requires strong teamwork and the ability to foster collaboration that drives both creativity and action. Building rapport and aligning various groups to achieve event goals is critical for success.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: The fast-paced nature of event planning often requires resilience in the face of high-pressure situations and unexpected obstacles. Being adaptable and able to pivot when necessary, ensures that events are successful even when plans need to change.
Responsibilities

  • Execute against the global events strategy across physical, digital, and hybrid formats.
  • Plan and execute large-scale conferences, field marketing activations and third-party sponsorships.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of all event deliverables, including Call for Speaker submissions, external and internal communications, event materials, and more.

Execution & Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end logistics: venue selection, vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, swag, catering, A/V, staffing, etc.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and ROI frameworks for each event.
  • Help implement new event management tool to support a large internal event and a user conference in 2026.
  • Oversee all operational elements onsite and ensure flawless event execution.

Audience Acquisition & Promotion

  • Own event registration and attendance targets; partner with the demand and brand teams to drive audience acquisition.
  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing on pre-event and post-event content strategies

Lead Generation & ROI

  • Set event objectives for each event and align execution strategy to maximize goal attainment
