[What the role is] The Senior Executive/Deputy Manager - Student Development & Recognition works with the 3 Colleges and HQ Divisions to support the overall student development and recognition of ITE students, reporting to an Assistant Director. This is an administrative and coordination role that serves as a key liaison between various internal departments and external agencies to ensure comprehensive student support services. [What you will be working on] • Administer scholarship and award schemes (LKY Model Student Awards, Edusave Awards, LKY-STEP & Tay Eng Soon Scholarship, Keppel Care Foundation Merit & Scholarships, Temasek Foundation Scholarships, Howe Yoon Chong Scholarships, Tan Kah Kee Lifelong Learning Scholarships) • Manage Overseas Exposure Programme (formulate policies, coordinate with colleges and external agencies, track fund utilisation) • Administer Co-Curricular Activities (formulate policies, manage recording systems, provide data and statistics) • Manage IPPT data and coordinate fitness-related matters with external agencies • Drive systems and process improvements for Student Development Services • Design and automate processes, support digitalisation needs • Build informative dashboards and apply AI/automation for enhanced efficiency • Support Division budget management • Liaise with Volunteer Special Constabulary HQ and Singapore Police Force • Formulate and review student discipline framework • Administer Sports & Arts Excellence Awards and ITE CCA medals • Manage LBKM award scheme coordination • Coordinate Top and Best Nursing medals preparation • Administer NAC-STB Arts Grant with annual audit coordination • Plan annual Student Achievers' Award Ceremony • Handle WSS/ASC administrative matters • Coordinate with external agencies (MOE, MHA, MSF) for engagements and ministerial dialogues [What we are looking for] • Flair for administrative and IT-related work • Good organisational skills • Ability to work in fast-paced environment • Welcome challenges • Comfortable with process improvement and digitalisation initiatives • Capable of managing multiple stakeholder relationships http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
