[What the role is] The Senior Executive of the Student Development & Recognition Department works closely with the ITE Colleges and HQ Divisions to coordinate the support services for ITE students. He / She reports to an Assistant Director. You will provide holistic social work support to ITE students-at-risk and will be part of the professional team, working with students and their families, community partners and relevant stakeholders within ITE with objectives such as enabling students to complete their studies, facilitating family work with relevant agencies and accessing resources. [What you will be working on] The appointed candidate will be assigned duties and responsibilities within this scope of work: Overseeing the provision of student services in ITE, including student benefits and student care services such as initiatives to provide additional support to students-at-risk. Liaise with Colleges in documenting, tracking, monitoring and reporting (including collation of relevant data) of students’ cases. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders (e.g. departments within ITE, government and community agencies) to provide holistic care and support to students. Processing and managing student records in ITE’s student administration system. Other student areas to be assigned include policies and prgrammes related to student development and recognition. [What we are looking for] Strong communication and relationship-building skills Attention to details, and adept at time management and with high standard of numeracy skills. Good knowledge of social services landscape in Singapore. Adept in data analysis, visualisation and management of statistical data which require submissions to other governmental agencies.
