Description:

As a vital member of the HR team, you will play an essential role in supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) by managing a range of HR matters within the designated business unit(s). Your contributions will ensure that HR services are delivered efficiently and effectively, fostering a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HRBP and the NTU Shared Services team to provide operational support on HR administrative matters such as performance appraisals, promotions, recruitment, contract renewals, and more, ensuring timely service delivery
  • Support the HRBP in proactively engaging with stakeholders and employees to address HR functions in a consultative manner
  • Assist in the administration of performance appraisal processes, including tracking timelines and gathering feedback, while helping managers understand performance management tools and practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making
  • Provide HR advisory services regarding the university’s policies and work processes to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the HRBP and HR Centres of Excellence on key HR projects, including policy and process reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in human resources administration or a related field. Candidates with prior experience of working in an educational or academic environment would have an added advantage
  • Highly attentive to details, possess the ability to multi-task and to manage deliverables under tight timelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving HR needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
  • Candidates with prior experience in using Workday system would have an advantage
