REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 to 10 years’ experience in marketing, comms or BD, in a law firm or a professional services environment.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant area, e.g. business, marketing, mass communications, media, law from a reputable university – or equivalent work experience.
  • Crucial skills- Attention to detail, proactiveness, diligence, people and stakeholder management skills. Resourceful and collaborates well in a team.
  • Flawless command of English, both oral and written. Ability to draft, proof, distil large volumes of content.
  • For Asst Manager- requisite skills in mentoring and independent large event management.
  • Application should include writing samples.
  • Social media marketing skills and design skills would be a bonus.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy - Work with directors and managers on marketing strategy and budget. Assess, recommend and facilitate measures in line with the department’s overall objectives.
  • Events – Recommend, plan and organise web/seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Legal publications - Draft /edit submissions in consultation with directors, organise interviews, advise directors, build relationships with researchers.
  • Corporate communications - Draft, gain approval and disseminate announcements.
  • Assessment of opportunities - Assess the value of advertising, speaking and writing opportunities in line with the firm’s strategy, make recommendations, and oversee implementation.
  • Marketing collaterals - Write and design materials (ads, posters, banners, corporate profiles for external use)
  • Website/ Social Media - Continuously update and improve content.
