Property and Facilities Full-time, permanent position Base salary will be in the range $93,491 - $100,296 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6) Based at our St. Lucia Campus About This Opportunity Step into a pivotal role at the heart of UQ’s Property and Facilities (P&F) Division. As the Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Property Officer, you will be the trusted professional ensuring the seamless operation of a high-performing executive office. In this dynamic and fast-paced position, you’ll coordinate complex schedules, manage key communications, support strategic projects and committees, and provide high quality administrative oversight that keeps P&F running efficiently. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Provide high-level executive support by managing the Chief Property Officer’s schedule, correspondence, meetings, briefings and travel logistics Coordinate administrative support for divisional boards, committees, projects and events, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery Oversee day-to-day office workflows by managing information flow, resolving enquiries and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Administer financial processes including reimbursements, delegations, approvals and expense management in line with University policies. About You Relevant qualifications and substantial experience in executive support, administration or secretarial roles Proven experience in managing ‘C-Suite’ executives is essential Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, enabling effective relationship-building across all levels Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently, using sound judgement to anticipate needs and resolve issues Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence liaising with senior leaders, staff, students and external partners Proficiency in financial administration, including processing expenses, managing delegations, and adhering to established policies and procedures.
