Senior Executive – Designer (Based at MAS Fabric – Matrix - Thulhiriya) MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to study, understand seasonal concepts, conduct trend/ industry analysis thereby assist in concept, design and product development, engage in sketching, design manipulation and illustrations that depict customer interest and industry standards whilst, working closely with the business and technical team to achieve annual sales through effective product offerings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the design manager to manage and maintain healthier seasonal Material and design calendar by conducting timely & accurate preparation for seasonal launches. Developing seasonal macro and micro trend boards for materials-Knits and yarns, Design-shapes and details, colors and trims for relevant product pillar. Developing effective series of creative concepts and designs to generate potential business opportunities to achieve annual sales relates to specific value chain through seasonal and customer focused fabric and design collections. Timely Communicating and conduct reviews with fabric team, programming and sourcing team to develop the seasonal fabric collection with correct knit structures, graphics, colors and performance based on creative direction and recommendations. Make recommendations to technical leads and programmers to develop the effective design for price and manufacturing during handover meetings. Communicate key constructions and finishes for designs for all product ranges in order to develop right first through. Review and approve the fit of the design collections through internal fit sessions ensuring the quality and manage prissues that may arise both internally / externally. Developing both digital and physical marketing materials, product stories and presentations through such efforts promote the capabilities in terms of Product/ Material/ Design and Innovation. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS B.Des (Hons)fashion design and product development 2 -3 years of experience in similar capacity Design tools literacy – Adobe collection, Clo, Apex Good communication skills
