QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: CFA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of work experience in Finance in construction contracting, asset leasing and/or entertainment industry including 8-10 years in finance leadership role in large and complex organization.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. In-depth understanding of financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insights that drive business decisions.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing FP&A teams.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to executive teams and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Technology: Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, financial modeling software, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan).

JOB PURPOSE:

The Senior Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key leader responsible for driving the organization’s financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Reporting to the CFO, this role guides business development and supports senior leadership in achieving both operational and strategic financial goals across subsidiaries and projects.
The Executive Director shapes the financial direction of the company by providing comprehensive financial insights, translating business strategies into actionable plans, identifying performance drivers, and optimizing resource allocation. Leading the FP&A team, this role ensures effective financial control and supports decision-making to drive business growth and long-term success.
