Description
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage the lifecycle of all Teleport’s controlled documents. You will be the gatekeeper of our document management system, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and accessible to the relevant stakeholder. This position often serves as the central hub for efficiency and compliance. A successful Document Controller ensures that "no one is working off the wrong set of documents." Key Responsibilities Document System Management: Maintain and update the Document Management System to ensure all files are categorized and stored correctly Quality Control: Review documents for accuracy and compliance with company standards (correct templates, naming conventions and numbering) before filing Distribution: Manage the timely circulation of documents Version Control: Ensure that only the latest revisions of documents are in use and that superseded versions are archived Archiving: Oversee the secure storage of physical and digital records in accordance with legal and project retention policies Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree Experience: 2–5 years in document control or Quality Management System Skills: Proficiency in document management software and Google Docs Character: Detail oriented yet agile, proactive and able to work independently
