Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Executive / Senior Executive, Security (Enforcement & Validation) is responsible for executing security operations and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, enhance workforce vigilance, and strengthen the public transport (PT) network security. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and reports to the Manager, Security (Enforcement & Validation).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validating ground security measures through audits and inspections to meet system-wide regulatory Code of Practice (CP) requirements.
  • Assisting in managing daily security operations across the SMRT network.
  • Reviewing security processes and operations procedures.
  • Coordinating and conducting security exercises, including red teaming exercises, to enhance workforce vigilance and discipline.
  • Supporting and implementing security education and awareness programs for staff and vendors.
  • Liaising and coordinating with internal business units regarding the implementation of security measures and procedures.
  • Conducting Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRA) on SMRT premises, including evolving threats, and providing inputs for possible mitigating enhancements.
  • Analyzing and compiling data on security trends.
  • Supporting project management for security enhancement projects.
  • Conducting security-related incident investigations and providing necessary assistance in police investigations.
