  Senior Executive - Fabric Technologist  (Based at Aqua Trading - Hanwella)   The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to join the Intimates team as a Senior Executive - Fabric Technologist. This role would require you to source / develop materials according to the customer requirements, mitigate risk in a timely manner whilst functioning within the standards agreed by all stakeholders that would enable bulk production to meet the required quality standards and the business requirement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identify trims / fabrics that require sourcing / development, confirm availability in accordance with the internal specifications, obtain best commercial terms from identified supplier and ensure all documentations are up-to-date to facilitate smooth ordering process.  * Ensure the technical package contains approved master hangers/samples along with the technical specs signed off by customer & supplier, hand over complete technical package to the bulk team in a timely manner, assist with conditional approvals where needed and rectify garment constructional constraints due to material. * Involve in the development of Lab dip, strike off and trims and communicate the required information with the customers and the internal teams along with necessary approvals.  * Conduct and monitor necessary testing procedures prior to the bulk production and involve in commercial decisions whilst communicating necessary information with the relevant stakeholders along with bulk approvals whilst involving in Risk analysis which will enhance the quality of the end products. * Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role as and when requested by the management.  * Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role as and when requested by the management. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * Bachelor's degree in applied science or physical science or Textile and sourcing technology. * 3 - 5 years' experience in a relevant field * Fabric/ Textile Mill experience would be an added advantage
