Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable and Staff Claims (Non-HR) functions in IPOS. This would include partnering and providing financial advice to departments with an end-to-end view of finance processes.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve long outstanding payments.
  • Review staff claims to ensure compliance with IPOS’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support grant administration by monitoring the grant budget utilization and collating returns for reporting to grant owners.
  • Drive process improvements through data analytics and automation.
  • Review and update finance policies in line with standards and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and statistics for management, government agencies etc.
  • Lead and execute accounting related system enhancements and projects.
  • Work with internal and external auditors and support the audits.

Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.
