Description
Objective: * This position is responsible for high volume recruitment in a fast paced environment.  The position also must find and source candidates by conducting college visits, attending career fairs, attending network events, and by leveraging social media. * Ensure smooth on-boarding process of the new employees and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Capital functions. Key Responsibility: Employee Lifecycle Coordination * Coordinate end-to-end onboarding process for new joiners including document collection, induction scheduling, and system updates in collaboration with the HC Operations team. * Track and support probation reviews, confirmation processes, contract renewals, and internal transfers. * Maintain and update employee records in the HRMS and ensure timely resolution of employee queries related to lifecycle transactions. HR Support to Business Units * Serve as the first point of contact for employees and line managers for day-to-day HR inquiries, process clarifications, and policy guidance. * Support brand/function heads in implementing approved HR actions such as role changes, relocations, or disciplinary processes. * Facilitate internal communications related to HR programs, announcements, and engagement events. Performance & Development Coordination * Support execution of the annual performance review cycle by assisting with goal-setting templates, reminders, and progress tracking. * Coordinate with the L&D team to schedule learning sessions, ensure participation, and collect feedback. * Assist in compiling talent data and maintaining performance history of employees. Employee Engagement & Culture * Help organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, wellness campaigns, and celebration days. * Track participation in engagement programs and generate basic reports on employee involvement and feedback. * Escalate potential employee relations concerns to the Assistant Manager or Manager – Human Capital for review. HR Reporting & Administration * Maintain and share regular reports and trackers related to headcount, attrition, leaves, and employee movements. * Ensure HR documentation, letters, and memos are issued accurately and stored in alignment with audit standards. * Coordinate with other HR sub-functions (recruitment, admin, payroll) to resolve cross-functional issues for assigned business units. Compliance & Process Discipline * Ensure adherence to HR policies, SOPs, and approval workflows across all HR activities. * Participate in internal HR audits by supporting documentation requirements and follow-up actions. * Assist in the rollout of new policies, procedures, or systems by facilitating awareness and training sessions for staff. Desired Experience: The ideal Senior Executive – Human Capital in a retail company should have 3+ years of progressive experience in human resource/HRMS/administration. Proven success in driving high level cross functional collaboration, enhancing customer engagement, and achieving & exceeding sales KPI targets for stores.
