We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to provide timely and competitive costed SMV for product developments, applying methods and process innovation to reduce costs and improve productivity to ensure high profits and cost reduction. Accurate and timely preparation of GSD patterns and product make up construction to facilitate the smooth production processes. Continuously integrate with the operational IE team to standardize methods, SMVs etc. across divisions so as to ensure standardized SMVs are maintained for each style.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide provisional & final Standard Minute Values (GSD SMVs) and provisional and final sewing construction for requested styles accurately and in a timely manner according to the new style plan. * Initiate sewing construction and provide sample sewing and inform regarding new technology/ machinery/ attachment/ trims to relevant parties for early preparation (to planning/ engineering/ merchandising). * Apply methods and process innovations to reduce costs and improve productivity to generate high profits and reduce costs, so as to offer competitive costed SMV in order to satisfy customers in terms of CM value. * Participate for risk mitigation discussion and integrate with the manufacturing team to ensure early preparation for identified risks and subsequently, smooth operations at the bulk stage. * Standardize one operation per month to build well established database in the organization, and as a result, minimize change over loss during production and increase the ramp up efficiency. Analyze similarities and maintain scoring system to give directions to planning team for appropriate style plan to enhance productivity. * Identify innovative methods/ improvements to production, implementing such innovations/ improvements in a timely manner so as to increase cost effectiveness of sewing methods/ improve on competitive advantages. * Transfer new methods/ techniques to relevant production facilities e.g. video imaging, visiting the plants to train the plant team etc so as to ensure timely and accurate implementation of improvements at factory level.   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Degree in production and industrial engineering management. * 3-5 years industrial experience from Design to manufacturing process (IE/ Production/ Costing) GSD (UK) license.
