Job Summary To assist the Head of Section on sectional activities, to provide administrative functions and assist for the timely and accurately preparation of tasks assigned. Assist in the overall management of the compliance functions. Job Responsibilities 1. Assist in coordination and execution of compliance related works to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and ensuring that applicable local and international laws, rules and guidelines are adhered. Assisting in coordination and execution of risk related works to ensure overall objective met. 2. Assist in the maintenance of compliance structure performance measurement system. 3. Ensuring the required level of liaison and consultation takes place, as required, with internal and external clients. 4. Responsible for assisting Head of Section in ensuring sectional activities and outcomes comply with the required procedures requirements. 5. Assist in the development, drafting, formatting, and formal review of all internal policies, procedures, and SOPs. 6. Coordinate and gather input from various departments during the drafting/review process to ensure all documents adhere to company standards and consistency. 7. Maintain and update a central repository or database for all approved organizational policies and procedures. 8. Support the company-wide communication materials and assist with related awareness efforts. Qualification 1. Bachelors degree in related field. 2. Having additional qualification in integrity, governance or compliance is preferred. 3. Knowledge in integrity, governance, compliance, laws, or risk management will be an advantage. Experience Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in related field. Knowledge of port activities would be an added advantage. Skills Strong analytical and report writing skills Able to assess internal controls Able to work with minimum supervision. Pleasant and mature personality, good interpersonal and analytical skills. Flexible mindset, hands-on capability & self-motivated. Accurate reporting capability both verbally and written. Computer literate with intermediate computer skills preferably MS-Office. Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English. Multi lingual skill is an added advantage. Good presentation skill. Resourceful and well organized. Able to interact with people at all levels. Able to work either in a group or individually. Willingness to learn and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
