Description Manage the day-to-day manufacturing and supply chain operations for Orion’s Auburn and Mukilteo locations. Partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in developing Strategic Goals and Annual Objectives to achieve greater efficiency, productivity, profitability, and growth. Serve as the primary management liaison to the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee. Partner with Training and Employment, Human Resources, and Finance and Accounting to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives. Integrate Program Participant and Manufacturing services such that manufacturing goals and objectives are achieved while fulfilling Orion’s mission. Partner with the Director of Sales to maintain positive customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction including quality, delivery, and pricing standards. Partner with the Quality Assurance Manager to implement and maintain best practices to achieve Quality Objectives. Hire, promote, and make personnel decisions in accordance with Orion Way to achieve company goals and objectives. Provide consistent and effective training and development of manufacturing staff. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies in manufacturing to ensure Orion’s manufacturing infrastructure remains current through timely capital budgeting and acquisition of appropriate hardware and software capabilities. Ensure all manufacturing employees work in safe and fair working conditions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred. Ten or more years of experience in managing people in production and manufacturing environment within the aerospace industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with ERP software required; knowledge of Epicor Manufacturing preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing planning, processes, machinery, and production tooling. Strong knowledge and experience in application of LEAN processes required. Experience within an AS 9100 quality system.
