JOB SUMMARY

The Network Regulation team leads on ORR’s role in holding Network Rail to account, comprising of individuals responsible for regulating Network Rail’s geographical business units and System Operator and co-ordinating and implementing day to day governance arrangements and enforcement activities as required. As Senior Executive, Network Regulation, you will play a key part in ORR’s role in holding Network Rail to account.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for facilitating a suite of meetings and documents that support ORR’s holding to account of Network Rail, ensuring robust evidence is put forward to allow ORR to understand and anticipate Network Rail’s performance and delivery during the current five year Control Period (CP7) and its compliance against its Network Licence (which sets out its obligations and requires it to comply with the conditions we set in the public interest). As part of your role, you will need to build strong professional relationships with a range of internal colleagues, across a range of specialisms, and also external colleagues, including senior leaders in Network Rail.
