We are looking for a dynamic and energetic team-player who is keen to join and grow with our team as an Senior/ Executive, Network Support Engineer.
Reporting to the AM of Network & Data Governance, the Executive supports DPH for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DPH network and servers systems to ensure they meet DPH’s requirements and support its operations effectively. The incumbent will provide IT support for users.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in IT support, data and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of networking/servers concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with network/servers hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
  • Proficient in network/servers troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, with a strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Strong teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, with attention to detail in diagnosing issues, documenting solutions, and ensuring the integrity of software applications.
    The successful candidate will be initially offered a 2-year contract and can expect a monthly basic salary up to $4,300, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Monitor network and server performance, traffic, and security to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Use monitoring tools and analyze metrics to optimize performance and recommend improvements.
  • Provide technical support for end-users facing hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network/server problems, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Implement and maintain network/server security controls to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security systems to safeguard IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain and update accurate documentation of network/server configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
  • Assess infrastructure capacity, analyze usage trends, and plan for scalability and future growth.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams for hardware/software procurement, implementation, and support.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support services for timely resolution of IT infra-related issues.
  • Lead or support IT infrastructure projects, including planning, coordination, and execution of tasks.
  • Ensure project timelines, resources, and deliverables are met while maintaining documentation and stakeholder communication.
