SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS Senior Executive Officer / Executive Officer (25260227) The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies. The School is now seeking a high-calibre, dedicated, mature and self-motivated individual to join the Dean’s Office. Responsibilities: Manage the academic programme administration, including student recruitment, admissions, quality assurance, student records maintenance, course and examination scheduling, teaching assignment, committee work, student-related matters; Organise school-wide and programme-related meetings, activities and events; Contribute to day-to day operations, including preparing reports and proposals while managing records effectively; Organise and coordinate University-level and School-based events such as seminars, study tours, colloquiums, and workshops; Provide support for office administration, including processing purchasing requisitions for the School; Liaising with internal and external units/ parties; and Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: A recognised degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in higher education institutions; Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); Meticulousness, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility; Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word are required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written/skills assessment. Applicants with less relevant work experience may be considered for the post of Executive Officer. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
