FACULTY OF SCIENCE OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF SCIENCE Senior Executive Officer (25260488) The Office of the Dean of Science is seeking a highly motivated administrator to join its team as a Senior Executive Officer. The appointee will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Managing key academic functions, such as programme administration, teaching and learning arrangements, exam and grade coordination, and quality assurance; Providing secretariat support to committees, task forces and meetings; Coordinating student schemes and organising activities; and Handling day-to-day operations, which include preparing reports and formal documents, ensuring policy compliance, and managing records. The appointee may also attend to other duties as assigned. Requirements: Applicants should hold a recognised bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience supporting formal committees/boards at a local university is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities and competencies: Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); A proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility; Willingness and ability to handle routine and tedious work with a meticulous and detail-oriented approach; Good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team; and Proficient in common office software (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and IT skills. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.
