Senior Executive ‐ Plant Lean Enterprise (Customer Interface) (BASED AT PELAWATTA) Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to assist in implementing MOS initiatives whilst keeping record of the performance measures to ensure a Lean culture is achieved and sustained within the Business Unit. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the senior teams in conducting all MOS related projects & initiatives in the Business Unit in order to drive a culture of continuous improvement and be accountable for the successful rollout of the assigned project. Engage in Gemba Walks, speak with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders & process owners on a regular basis, understand the current situation, identify process deviation and involve all stakeholders in maintaining & improving the standards established. Map and analyze processes with stakeholders, and drive improvements and problem-solving initiatives using appropriate Lean tools within CI and Development scopes. Facilitate & capture learnings from consultant visits & internal resource persons, follow-up and ensure the actions / milestones are achieved within the agreed timeframes. Maintain the procedures laid out for internal & external MOS audits / calibrations, be part of conducting pre-audits / final assessments and recording the feedback provided for continuous improvement. Conduct & facilitate PDCAs (Plan-Do-Check-Act), assist relevant employees / teams to address problems and come up with the necessary corrective actions in a timely manner. Conduct internal training, coordinate with the senior team and arrange Lean related trainings for relevant employees to increase Lean awareness among all. Assist the senior team with the project / initiative budgeting process to ensure sound financial control. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Marketing, Management, or Physical Sciences. 1–2 years of experience in a similar scope. RBT A / lean Blue Belt qualification.
