JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an Executive/ Senior Executive, Meat and Poultry Procurement, to participate and manage purchasing activities, optimize procurement processes, and ensure compliance with company policies. The role requires independent decision-making, leadership in guiding team members, and problem-solving for complex procurement challenges.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of purchasing strategies and vendor management.
• Hands-on experience in contract negotiation, cost analysis and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Dynamics 365.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and a team player
• Dynamic working hours when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive / Senior Executive, Meat and Poultry Procurement responsibilities include:

• Liaise with vendors to establish supply chain resiliency
• Source perishable meat and poultry products while ensuring quality, compliance and cost efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize broad knowledge of products, techniques, and procurement processes to address challenges and set priorities.
• Ensure alignment to procurement requirement and processes with emphasis on documentation.
• Work independently with limited supervision, making informed decisions to optimize procurement operations.
• Guide and support team members through effective communication.
• Handle difficult and sometimes complex procurement-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Research and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure cost-effective deals.
• Track orders from issuance of purchase orders to receiving and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Conduct market analysis to identify pricing trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Warehouse and Finance, to streamline supply chain and ensure timely follow ups on quality matters to suppliers.
• Ensure ESG and safety policies are followed throughout procurement process.
