Senior Executive ‐ Quality Assurance (BASED AT NAIWALA) Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor all quality functions in all the areas, identify and resolve all quality issues in order to facilitate the production process and ensure customer requirements are met whilst achieving highest productivity levels by allocating appropriate resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all quality assurance and control systems / processes practiced in production to ensure adherence of quality standards, as per customer specifications and requirements & create awareness related to quality aspects. Direct quality executives and technicians to sound proactive participation in pre-production meetings and effective involvement in Quick Change Over activities, line feedings & set Accepted Quality Level (AQL) standards to make decisions. Gather information on day-to-day quality issues and provide subordinates with quality decisions, suggestions and action plans in order to maintain the smooth production process. Proactively identify quality trends, change systems, allocate resources and implement new systems to meet customer requirements and get involved in Factory Certification Auditing (FCA) process by maintaining strong relationship with auditors and customers’ representatives. Develop team skills, encourage team performance, design and conduct training and skill development programmes. Manage & maintain proper documentation for reference in case of a failure in the final shipment, quality issues and review quality reports to facilitate management decision making. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Physical Science. 3 years’ experience in Executive position ,1 year experience in Senior Executive position. Strong / effective communication skills. QMS, ISO 9001:2015, Familiar with GMP, Lean Manufacturing, Systematic problem solving. Capable to handle the quality of 15 ‐20 modules Independently, Knowledge on Bra / Swim
