* Analyze vehicle applications – Study the characteristics, capabilities, and technical features of Ashok Leyland trucks, CMC loaders/dumpers, and Escorts construction/agricultural equipment to recommend optimal solutions for customer work environments. * Qualify customer needs – Conduct in-depth discovery to understand buyer's operational requirements (payload, terrain, cycle times, fuel efficiency, durability), budget, and fleet utilization goals before presenting tailored vehicle options. * Proactively manage sales pipeline – Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing and potential customers (contractors, fleet owners, logistics firms, farmers) through regular visits, phone follow-ups, and site demonstrations. * Inform customers on new vehicles & deals – Keep all assigned accounts updated on newly launched models, seasonal promotions, financing options, and after-sales support packages (warranty, service contracts, spare parts availability). * Coordinate vehicle demonstrations & trials – Arrange on-site or yard-based trials simulating real work applications, involving technical teams to highlight performance advantages like fuel economy, lift capacity, or cabin ergonomics. * Track competitor activity & market feedback – Gather intelligence on pricing, customer preferences, and application trends in the commercial vehicle segment, and share insights with the sales manager to refine positioning strategies.
