Job Description Location: RedQ Department: Group Scheduling Entity: AAAMS Status (Full time/part time/contract): Full time JOB DESCRIPTION As an Executive Scheduler, you will play a key role in developing and managing AirAsia’s and/or AirAsia X's flight schedules, ensuring both operational and economic optimization. This includes ensuring all operational parameters and constraints are met, while producing feasible schedules. Additionally, you will assist and manage the accurate publication of flight schedules across various platforms, including airasia.com and the Navitaire reservations system. WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION Short-Term & Long-Term Schedule Development: You will assist in creating and distributing aircraft routing solutions for both AirAsia’s widebody and narrowbody networks, ensuring that schedules are operationally feasible and align with business goals. Annual Budget Schedule Development: You will contribute to aligning the company’s annual budget with the flight schedule, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency. Slots Management: You will be responsible for filing, managing, and monitoring the slot portfolio across all airports, ensuring optimal slot allocation and adherence to regulations. Inventory Management: You will assist in managing the transition of flight schedules from planning to live mode, updating and uploading relevant information into the Schedule Manager (New Skies). You will also coordinate with the Preflight team for any flight rescheduling activities. Maximizing Revenue: You will assist in optimizing flight schedules for holidays and day-of-week patterns to increase revenue generation opportunities. Operational Excellence: You will support the evaluation and implementation of fleet changes, special events, and charter schedules, ensuring all operational requirements are met. Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with operational teams to balance operational, financial, and efficiency objectives, contributing to a cohesive approach to schedule management. Stakeholder Communication: You will facilitate clear communication of future flight schedules to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency. WHO YOU ARE Entry-Level Experience: You may be a recent graduate or someone with some experience in scheduling, network management, or airline planning functions. You have a basic understanding of how flight, bus, or train schedules work, and are eager to learn more about the airline industry. Analytical Thinker: You’re comfortable working with data in Excel and have the ability to analyze basic scheduling information to identify trends and patterns. You’re motivated to develop your analytical skills further.
