Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: DNATA AIRPORT OPERATIONS’ VAST GROUND HANDLING OPERATIONS SUCCESSFULLY SERVICE THE MAJOR GLOBAL HUB THAT IS DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. WE DELIVER A SEAMLESS EXPERIENCE FROM CHECK-IN TO BAGGAGE DELIVERY FOR MORE THAN 80 MILLION PASSENGER AND 140 SCHEDULED AIRLINES ANNUALLY.

As a Senior Executive Secretary you will provide professional, high quality executive support and administrative services to DSVP dnata Airport Operations and their team .

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Receive, evaluate, and respond to incoming communications. Redirect or escalate matters to the executive as needed, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the executive and their team, including managing administrative paperwork, drafting correspondence, and preparing reports
  • Oversee diary and logistics management
  • Manage invoicing, accounting, and budget-related tasks for the department
  • Assist in the preparation and management of departmental budgets, including processing payments and ensuring accurate financial records
  • Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and replacement of office assets and equipment, ensuring that the department’s resources are well-managed
  • Ad hoc or additional administrative tasks as requested by the executive

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST MEET THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) and 5+ years’ experience in an administrative capacity to a Senior Manager in a medium or large size company with strong administrative skills
  • Secretarial qualification or diploma is preferred
  • Shorthand and/or speedwriting would be an advantage
  • Must be fully competent in MS Office applications
  • Must have a high degree of fluency in spoken and written English, a pleasant telephone manner and the ability to prioritise work

You’ll have an edge if you have:

  • Experience in events management
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives
